Our approach

Russian alphabet

All Russian letters can be divided in four groups:

  • Letters that look and sound like in English,
  • Letters that look like in English but sound differently,
  • Letters that sound like in English but look differently,
  • Letters with new to an English speaker sounds and looks.

Learning the Russian alphabet starting from the familiar letters and moving to the unfamiliar ones is much easier than going in the alphabetical order.

Every letter in our course is presented in a few versions (printed, cursive and hand-written one) and comes with multiple audio files to practice it in syllables and words.
